Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, my family was always supportive and encouraging to explore the creative arts that seemed to come easily to me.
I went off to college at University of Idaho where I graduated in FCS, aka Home Economics and Textile Arts. Initiated into the Pi Beta Phi sorority, I learned about supporting philanthropic work, particularly our founding settlement school Arrowmont, located in Tennessee.
Fast forward through many years of what would be the darkest chapters of my life. Years of addiction, guilt, shame and self-loathing began to settle the dust of failed relationships and not spending quality time with my twins. There was only one way out: the hard way, which meant doing the hard work.

...like when I was a child running around the woods of North Idaho with my grandma and cousins. Finding sobriety brought me a spiritual awakening of sorts, and repeatedly took me outside to learn and study plants and their healing magic.
Devouring books, workshops, retreats, and a chance to learn ancestral craft skills through the very school that my sorority sponsored fell seamlessly in line. Arrowmont teaches traditional handicrafts such as weaving and basketry, metalworking, book binding, quilting, glasswork and woodworking, to name a few.

Studying witchcraft and finding earth-spirited communities
became my truest support system.
My husband and his dedication to our life and building a home has been the backbone of establishing my small business, Molten Hot Cosmic Witch. Our beloved home and land, Woodland Crossing, has been a project that satisfies and brings joy to our lives.

One small flower garden and pumpkin patch has evolved into a sustainable flower farm surrounded by acreage of maple, pine and cedar trees. We turned an outbuilding shed into my flower studio and broom workshop. All plant materials used in my products are grown and dried by me. Ethically grown, our plant material yields beautifully organic blossoms and branches.
So, what came first, the broom or the witch? I’d have to say they arrived together to learn the old ways.
I hope to offer workshops in the future so that I may pass on the very skills that brought you here, to support Molten Hot Cosmic Witch.
And in the winter months when my plant beds are tucked away, join my exploration of the dark, shadow season via Yuletide Hauntings Substack. We will explore Yuletide ghosts and haunted musings infused with Christmas folklore, ritual, myth, and magic.
Join me on this wild journey of curiosity, re-enchantment, earth medicine, and intentional living!
